what is the point of a cover if its not there for us to judge it?

Hazelmouse is a great pretender. She has a great imagination, its vivid enough for her to let herself believe things that aren't true. She has a sweet, and soft heart. She is also vivacious and isn't afraid to share. What makes her fur not as appealing she makes up for in tart-sweetness and blatant truth. She speaks her mind, though she doesn't think a lot. She isn't, by far, the smartest cat there is. Sometimes when she tries to say things they come out the wrong way. But she has a good heart thats been patched up a couple to many times. Sometimes her first impression isn't always right, but she is loyal and will stick with what she gets herself into.

everybody's talking, everybody's staring

Hazelmouse is sweet, but she isn't exactly pretty. Her mother, Charter, was a cream tan cat with short fur and pretty green eyes. Her father was a dark, smudgy gray tom with long fur and bright amber eyes. Violet took her mother's sugary disposition and had soft white fur dappled with dark gray and green eyes. Her brother had large owly amber eyes and fur dark as night growing closer to the brink of morning. Hazelmouse came out in the exact middle. Her fur is a bit patchy in length, some short, some long. Her fur is infused with swirling light gray and blots of summery, pale, amber. Her eyes are her most charming feature. Round and alluring, she had amber eyes with a thin band of green gripping to her pupil. She is rather thin beneath her patchy fur, and isn't exactly graceful. She isn't extremely strong or tall. She is rather slight and on the shorter side, but is a strong warrior nonetheless.

overlooked, outshone

Charter was a young loner who was separated from her parents in a forest fire started by two-legs. She joined Thunderclan as a mean to protect herself. She was taught the skills of hunting and fighting, but when it came time for her warrior name she refused. She had, however, fallen in love with a warrior named Murkpond, and pledged her loyalty to the clan to be with him. About a moon later Charter told Murkpond that she was pregnant with his kits. Both were excited, but Charter was remarkably long and everyone was worried she wouldn't make it...

Longwillow cast a long, sideways glance at Murkpond. We can't just not tell her. Everyone's talking...
What? Tell me what? Charter asked, her eyes grew wider. You too just can't be keeping secrets from me!
Murkpond swallowed. But what they're saying isn't true! What isn't true. Murkpond tell me, you have to! Its about me isn't it? Charter frowned.
They... Murkpond looked at Longwillow, but she only nodded her encouragement. They think you're too young. They think you won't... Make it.
Charter laughed. But no one else did. So she stopped and slid her gaze between the medicine cat and her mate. Oh come on. Really? That's it? Murkpond, of course I'll be fine. I'm strong. I'm strong enough.
Murkpond nodded. Exactly, so I didn't see any reason to go and worry you. He purred and nuzzled her cheek.
She smiled affectionately.
Longwillow sighed. Face the facts you two. Be careful, Charter. No one wants anything to happen to you...

Charter lived through her pregnancy, and her kits were all healthy and strong. She however was growing increasingly weak. Though Murkpond and Longwillow warned her against it, it was a time of tension, and when a battle arouse against Riverclan she left camp and fought. Charter did not return home from that battle. At this time Hazelkit and her siblings were four moons old. Her father raised them to apprentice. After that he left the clan with Longwillow, whom he had come to love in Charter's absence. Violetpaw ran off with a loner one day, holding onto false hopes of finding her father and Longwillow. Barkpaw left the clan with his sister as well, but after a few futile months realized it was hopeless, but couldn't return to the clan. He joined a two-leg household and was renamed Apollo. Hazelpaw saw him once but then the family moved and took him with them. Hazelpaw had a very unexciting apprenticehood and learned easily. She was named Hazelmouse for her small size which she got from her mother. She doesn't think of her past much, so it slowly fades. And she is okay with that.
