Tearlight slipped past the trees on her way to the Moonpool. The half moon shone above marking the time of the medicine cat gathering. Her paws grazed the hard stone of the pathway. She looked back glad to see her apprentice Riverpaw following her. She could almost her the starry water calling to her. She was glad to be sharing tongues with starclan on this night; she needed guidance. Shadowclan was in turmoil somewhat. Hopefully starclan would have an answer to give her. So she may follow the path her ancestors have set for her. On the horizon she could spot the blurry shapes of several other cats. She settled on her haunches content to wait for the rest of the medicine cats.

riverpaw, tearlights new apprentice, approached quietly. he was a newly made apprentice and was rather nervous to experience in the mysteries of starclan as his mentor had, and her mentor before her. it seems so strange for him, perfectly capable to be a warrior, to be here about to share tongues with his ancestors like some sort of...lesser being.

Spiritsong padded out of the darkness with her apprentice at her heels. The half moon hung in the sky, marking the time that medicine cats shared tongues with Starclan. "Hello Tearlight."

" Hello Spiritsong." mewed Tearlight curtly " How runs the prey?" She asked, giving a few licks to her fur as she waited for an answer. They were still waiting for the other two medicine cats that should be coming.

Icefeather frail and weak stepped forward her eyes did not sparkle like they once did. Her white coat was unkept and messy."Greetings..." She mewed warmly."My apprentice should certainly be along shortly..." Hiddendusk was a great apprentice."Don't be offended he can't speak....he's mute. But somehow you still understand...he's very kind...."
