Lovepaw gave a big yawn and opened her eyes to see the sun was up and the ground covered in white. Oh how she dreaded the days of leaf bare. She then got up slowly and padded out of her den and gave herself a good shake, she then scanned the area for any other cats but no one was to be seen. She then gave a shurg and looked over at the freshkill pile. Empty. She let out a sigh seeing her breath in the process. A gust of win then blew past her and she gave a shiver. So she guessed as of right now as she should go out and hunt. She then bouncd to the enterance of the camp and then out in a blink of an eye.

Icefeather watched her from afar. her white pelt blending smoothely. She snow no longer bothered her. She looked forward to leafbare only because she had the most work to do. Winter ment looking harder for herbs more time outside. It meant more deaths, and struggles, greencough, black cough even, the worse time to birth. She looked at her swollen belly and she knew that she would have to push her own endurance in order to survive this leafbare.

The two black apprentices watched Icefeather and Lovepaw intently. In the smaller she-cat's pale green eyes was friendly curiosity. Her larger, older brother gazed critically at them with cautious mistrust. What good can come from being a Medicine Cat? he wondered silently. They care for the weak, when they could be hunting and fighting alongside their stronger clanmates. His fur bristled up as his sister padded forward. "Hello, Icefeather," Truthpaw mewed shyly. "Do you, umm, need any help with anything?" She smiled sweetly, tail waving gently. Timepaw shook his head, muttering quietly under his breath. His sister was always too friendly. Grudgingly, he walked up behind her. His golden-amber eyes still watched Icefeather cautiously--he very clearly didn't trust her. [/size]

Icefeather watched Lovepaw. She knew that it was in Lovepaws family to be a medicine cat and she knew that all Lovepaw had really wanted was to be a warrior. She could see it in her. Perhaps she should talk to liftedstar."Oh hello Truthpaw. Timepaw." Her mew was sincere."You can help me sort herbs. Or you can help me find some out of camp. Which one sounds more fun to you. THats the one we will do." Her yellow eyes were warm and sincere. She had had to find an apprentice fast. Starclan was quickly calling her.

Truthpaw tilted her head to one side. "I don't really know what any of them look like..." She glanced at her brother, who narrowed his eyes. Don't drag me into this, he thought. I have no interest in being a Medicine Cat's helper for the day. Truthpaw shrugged. "Umm... I guess I'll help you in here," She mewed. "I don't think you should be outside in the cold so much if you're having kits... Unless you want to stay outside, of course." She ducked her head, eager to please the Medicine Cat. Timepaw's lip curled disgustedly. His twin was such a suck-up.

ooc:NPC for now. I wanna continue the Icefeather with Time and truth
Icefeather nodded. Of course she should have known they wouldn't have had a clue, she was not accostomed to it."I can teach you. Your right though I should stay inside. Ravensfeather would be very upset if I left. Same with FIshtail so protective of me they are."She laughed and brought out a couple of herbs."You should be familar with Cob-webs and Mouseb bile by now. How about Catmint and Marigold." She picked the two out of her stash and smiled."Marigolds paste used for infection. Catmint. Good for green cough white cough and Black cough. The taste and smell is enticing. No cat can resist it. Of course my favorite.." She turned around and pulled out a large brown paper like item. It was glazed with an amber light."A honey comb. They are perfect for sore throats but are good for treats to. Try it..." She pushed the Golden treat forward letting the two apprentices share.

”Ravensfeather would be very upset if I left. Same with Fishtail so protective of me they are." Truthpaw giggled and glanced at Timepaw. ”I get that,” she said. ”Irritating, isn't it?” She flicked her brother's ear with her tail, then turned back to Icefeather, ears pricked so she wouldn't miss anything she said. ”Ooh, that smells good...” Timepaw snorted, acting indifferent, but he had to admit that it did smell good. He didn't show his interest until she brought out the honeycomb. In the sunlight, it matched the color of his mother's eyes. Startled, he turned to his sister. How did he know that? He couldn't remember her.... Truthpaw wasn't paying attention to her brother, though. She had leaned forward carefully to lick the edge of the honeycomb.

Icefeather smiled at the she-cats enthusiam."As irritating as it may be I have kits on the way so I can only abide by there rules." She watched Timepaw carefully. He was indifferent. Almost hesitant."It tastes like honey Timepaw. A taste that you would never forget." A neat grin flashed over her face, but the look in Timepaw's eyes made her worry."You look like you just went to Starclan and back. Are you ok?"

Timepaw's gold eyes narrowed. “I'm fine,” he snapped. His spiking fur and restless shifting contradicted his words and he knew it, so he growled softly and turned around. “I'll talk to you later.” His muttered words were for his sister's ears only, and he made that clear by throwing a quick glare at Icefeather before leaving. Truthpaw watched her brother, worried. “To StarClan and back, huh?” She glanced at Icefeather, then at the honeycomb—Timepaw had been staring at it before he left, right? She blinked at the sweet golden treat. It was close to the same color as her brother's eyes. Maybe that brought on one of his weird visions or something.

Icefeather watched him go. Was it something she said? She looked at her paws then to truthpaw."I'll save him some and have a word with him later." She felt pain from his harsh stare. Her eyes traced the Honeycomb then to the two cats."Your brother he is differen't isn't he?"

Truthpaw opened her mouth, then shut it again. What could she say? She hated lying, but Timepaw would be mad if she said too much. She frowned, trying to decide what to do. ”Timepaw... sees things,” she said carefully. ”He sees things from our past, that we didn't know before. And sometimes, he sees cats that we've never met, places we've never been, things that have never happened...” She frowned, wondering if maybe she shouldn't talk so much.

Icefeather nodded."Like Fishtail..." She tried to take in all the information that Truthpaw was giving her."Some cats are born with this amazing connection to Starclan. Its usually in kits who have almost died and actually went to starclan but it wasn't there time so they were sent back." She paused trying to think."Or there are those who will be important to the clan. Or ones who are meant to be a medicine cat."She mewed.

Truthpaw frowned. ”I don't think he almost died.... But we really have no idea.... All we know about ourselves is what he's seen.” Her brow furrowed thoughtfully, then smoothed out as she laughed brightly. ”Oh, I certainly hope he's not meant to be a medicine cat. He would despise that.” She giggled almost uncontrollably at the thought of Timepaw as Icefeather's apprentice.

Icefeather laughed. Truthpaw was friendly, and her company was nice. It was like something she had never felt."judging by his personality he would hate being a medicine cat. However his powers mystify me. They really do." Maybe none of the reasons why he saw things from Starclan applied. Maybe he was just special."Your brother may be reborn from another cat. Or he may just be special... those are also there too. Maybe Starclan will talk to me tonight...."
