I've just never been able to say anything because he's so paranoid.” She smiled cheerfully. ”Does StarClan really talk to Medicine Cats?” she asked curiously. ”When do they talk to you? Is it just when something important is happening? Or do they just come to you for company sometimes? They must get lonely up there. I'd get lonely, if I was dead.” Noticing that she was babbling, Truthpaw looked down, the inside of her ears turning pink. |

Icefeather smiled. She enjoyed the she-cats company."Starclan can come just to visit us. They like company too you know. They are dead to us but to themselves they hunt, they eat they are just one big clan with no worries though. They can also contact us if there is something we must know about. Like a death or war, or prophecy. They help us in the time of need. Truthpaw if you are so curious why not come to the medicine cat gathering with me. Not as my apprentice but so you can see what it is like." She mewed sincerely.

Truthpaw listened intently, infatuated at Icefeather's description of StarClan. She'd never heard anyone say that StarClan was just like the live Clans, but without worries. She tilted her head to one side. ”Surely they must have some worries,” she mewed, ”If they have to know when cats are going to die... Or when bad things are going to happen... That must be awful.” She fell silent, eyes widening as she realized what Icefeather had just said. ”Truthpaw if you are so curious why not come to
the medicine cat gathering with me. Not as my
apprentice but so you can see what it is like.” ”Really?” Her voice was a high-pitched squeak, raised by her shock and excitement. ”Can I really come with you?” |

Icefeather smiled. Her yellow eyes billowing with amusement."Of course you can. I mean you won't receive a dream...but the experience is grand. The only way you can get a dream is if you are introduced to Starclan as A medicine cat apprentice. Then Starclan will come down into your dreams to welcome you. Then they give you a prophecy a puzzle that needs to be figured out."
