The silver she-cat looked back at camp toward the nursery where she had left her kits sleeping. They were old enough now that she could leave camp for brief periods of time without worry. The other cats enjoyed having her kits around and she knew they were in safe paws. She turned and lifted her head to sniff the air, trying to catch the scent of prey on the air. Above her a hawk cried as it to hunted. It would become a race between to elite predators.
Her eyes opened when the scent of rabbit caught her attention. It wasn't often that they got to enjoy the taste of large, plump rabbit. She silently stalked in the direction the scent had come from, hoping to beat the hawk to her prey. She froze when she saw the plump animal below her. Bunching her muscles she jumped down at it, her claws only missing it by inches as it fled when catching her scent.
Racing after it she let out a cry of despair as she saw the hawk closing in on her target. She bounded forward, stretching her body to the limits as she made every move count. But it wasn't enough, the hawk made the kill before she could reach it. She leaped at the giant bird in frustration, digging her claws into its flesh. It screeched for the last time as she swiftly took its life with a powerful bite. Now instead of one piece of freshkill she had two.

Circus was simply wandering around. She knew this was SkyClan territory, but she couldn't scent a cat at the moment. The black she-cat was padding along some rocks and stones when she slipped and stabbed her front right paw on a jagged, grey stone. She cursed, hissing, as the blood ran from the wound. She limped towards a small patch of dry mountain grass and sat, licking her cut. Soon it stopped bleeding and she could go one. The 4 seasons old female was not content with wandering all by herself everywhere. But the negative side was she didn't trust others enough. The world was pretty weird, or was it just her?
Soon, Circus went to sleep when she awoke, she was groggy and not very clear of her surroundings. She ran, forgetting about her injured paw. She let out a snarl of pain and nursed her cut, which was beginning to bleed again. Ugh. She trotted with that paw held high, until she saw the other she-cat. Oh no.

The silver she-cat padded toward camp with her kill hanging limp in her mouth. The air was still cold from leafbare and snow still remained in the high peaks of the mountains she called home. She would have loved to spend more time hunting but she was sure her kits would be hungry by now. She caught a strange scent on the air and headed in the direction it came from. Fallingwater stiffened with surprise before greeting the other she-cat warmly. "Hi, I'm Fallingwater. Who are you?" She looked at the black cat before her, she was slim with a short coat and a busy tail and her pretty yellow eyes glowed compared to the rest of her body. She found herself staring into them and quickly broke eye contact. She didn't want the newcomer to feel threatened.

ooc; see you saw the bio Circus automatically froze when she saw the other she-cat had noticed her. The black female almost burst out laughing when the clan cat had looked into her eyes, then away. It was an instinctive reaction, and the loner got that a lot. Besides, the stranger seemed nice enough. But Circus was cautious. "Um, hi. I'm Circus, and I don't want any trouble, so I'll get off your land now," she mewed briskly, very familiar with how fierce clan kitties were when defending land. She knew first-hand just how far they were willing to go. Trust her, they were not, she repeats not, always as friendly as other passing by loners.

Fallingwater nodded at the cat before her eyes moved down to her injured paw. "Are you hurt? If you want you can come to camp with me and we can get your paw looked at." Her voice was soft with her concern and though this was not her kit her motherly instincts still broke through for others to see.

Circus looked uncertain. Could she trust the clan female? However, her paw was getting infected and the black loner sighed. "Thanks. But won't your clanmates object?" she asked, limping a little closer, but with a smile plastered to her face. She hoped it looked friendly.

Fallingwater tilted her head to the side as she thought of what her clan mates would think and say. "Well, you are in need so they shouldn't be that mad at me. And if they are it doesn't really matter because you need help before your paw gets even more infected."

Circus sighed in relief. This female really was nice. "Oh..O-okay," she said, still a little wary and began to walk, keeping a safe distance from the other she-cat, not sure of what she would do.

The silver she-cat couldn't hold back the laugh and its soft sound echoed off the mountains. "You know, I'm not going to push you off the side of the cliff," her voice was light and carefree. She fell into a comfortable silence as she continued to pad toward camp. "There it is," she said softly to Circus.

Circus gazed at the camp. It was so...so warming! She could see cats all around, smell the prey and practically feel the heat of the many bodies. She gawked in amazement. What a great place to live! But the black she-cat preferred the loner life. She didn't trust others easily, so that was a sad trait for a clan cat. "It's wonderful," she breathed.

Fallingwater padded into camp calmly, ignoring any stares she might have gotten from her clan mates. "Let's get you to the medicine cat den so we can get your paw looked at."
[ooc- I'm going to make a new thread in the camp since that's where we are now. Helping a new found friend

ooc; okay.
Circus followed, nervous and to admit it, pretty scared. The toms looked pretty ferocious.
