I love you were her favorite words to think of. In all truth she was a very fierce cat and love was not the only thing she thought about but she known for her love and compassion. Everything she did was in the good of the Clan. If she could she could lay life down so that no cat would have to be in pain anymore. She lived that everyday, a nonstop battle to make things better for everyone but herself.
Description:
Her body could not be a more perfectly beautiful shape. With her golden fur wrapping around her lovely body. Bright amber eyes look on at the world with an untold wisdom.
History:
Nothing could ever stop this unstoppable force of love. Love had the definition of fighting and thinking of more than yourself, that was in her eyes as she thought. The start of her love could only come from the tragedy of her heart. When she was very young her mother and father died before her very eyes. They had taken her and her brother and sister (Lightkit and Sparkkit) out with them to see some of the forest when a badger came and attacked them. This usually didn't happen but on this particular day it did. Her parents fought for them but the badger was too strong. In the same they faced each other and said their last at the same moment, "I love you."
Her brother, Sparkkit, was fighting infection soon after that and had greencough all the same. She lay by his side day and night, trying to warm his body so that he may be better. Everyday she would remind him of what he would miss if he died. A sweet voice to her beloved brother, "You need to become apprentices with me and Lightpaw. If you die you can't do that. Please get better Sparkkit, dear brother."
He was soon better and then another cat, Burningkit, caught greencough as well. She tried to help him as well, hoping that if she helped him strive to live then he would get better. When her siblings became apprentices a moon right after he got better she felt sad, he had to wait a moon. Sunpaw had always had a crush on the tom and she could not stand to see that he chose Lightpaw over her. It was sad but she let it be.
When the rouge battle came and the image of her sister's dead body came along with it she couldn't believe it. Her and her sister had always been close and now she was gone. With a sorrowful farewell she made an end to the chapter of a sibling. That night she curled close to her sister and slept beside her as if she were still alive and soon she would wake in the morning, ready for practice. It never came, that feeling of seeing and hearing her sister again never came.
Moons past and it came time for her brother and her to become warriors. Sunpaw became known as Suncloud, known for her love and spirit; and Sparkpaw became known as Sparkheart, known for his life and courage. All she could ever think about was, Please sister, watch over me as I walk in a new path of life. The same prayer was given to her brother because he needed it, he had changed since Lightpaw's death, as if he thought she would die as well. Many times she had told him to just live because that is what Lightpaw would want but he wouldn't listen.
It happened the way it did one day, she had saved Burningpelt from the cold depths of the icy water a few days before when Suncloud and Sparkheart met a badger in their path on one of the many daily patrols. All her brother did was lash out and attack hissing, "You killed my mother and father and drove the rouges into ThunderClan camp and killed my sister!"
He yowled this as if the beast could understand a word he said. With one swift motion the badger knocked over. She tried all she could to save her brother but her brother would not let her save him. Everytime she told him to run he would yowl louder and louder, "I need my revenge."
When the badger gave a final blow she couldn't believe what she did. With all her furry she fought blindly, battling every instinct to realize that she might die. The badger was soon gone and she looked at her brother sadly and didn't look away from his fading eyes. Sparkheart starred back at her and smiled, blood oozing from his mouth. His eyes were as they hadn't been in a long time, tinted with the old amusement that she missed so much, "I love you Suncloud," he meowed with all he had, "You were a good sister and now I may join Lightpaw." He saw the sadness in her eyes and blinked with what he could, "Don't worry Suncloud, this is what I want. Remember my kits Suncloud," he meowed, "Make sure they know that I love them.... and," he choked more out of sorrow than pain as he started to speak about his love, "Tell Nightfang that I never meant to change, I only wanted my sister back. Though that is not an excuse please tell her that I love her and only her." She watched her brother sadly, "Don't talk," she bent her neck to lick his cheek for one last time, "Let your last breathe here a good one."
He didn't seem to notice and she knew he saw something else, "Stargazer-" he meowed his forbidden loves name and then let the light fly from his eyes.
She lay by her brother after that, broken and forgotten. Love flooded through her even as her brother's kits came with Burningpelt. Right away Burningpelt knew that she needed him. Through those days of sorrow she comforted his kits, Clouddust and Haypelt, and through those days she was comforted by Burningpelt.
It came quickly that she watched Burningpelt become deputy and seem to forget her. She went to his brother and made him extremely jealous. Soon Burningpelt had realized that if he ignored her then he could never have her. The problem when he got her back was that Saberfang loved her and had never stopped. Even when she became pregnant with Burningstar's kits.
The pain wafting Saberfang hurt Suncloud so bad. She watched him die while he lived and when her kits were born a fight went straight to RiverClan camp. News came back that Saberfang had died and Suncloud felt guilty. It had been her fault for making him this way. The day before he had came to her with no emotion to tell her what he would do, "I do not wish to live," was all he said, emotionless and gone.
Nightfall, his sister, blamed her and RiverClan. It wasn't too long after that the harsh she-cat started a fight with a RiverClan patrol. Infection struck Nightfall and she soon died.
Time came and went as her kits, Liftedkit, Lightningkit, and Specklekit became apprentices and then warriors. She was so proud that she couldn't help but show it all the time. The day came and a flashback came of the rouge battle of her sister's death. All time seemed to stop as she watched her mate fall over the highledge and to his death, "No!"
Nothing she could do but watch in pain as he went limp. She stayed as strong as she could as moons came and moons went. The time came when she saw Liftedpelt become deputy and then leader and her time was growing short. Life didn't seem worth living without Burningstar but she lived what she could and never showed pain. Her elder years came and passed and one day the chapter took an end.
When she was padding through the forest she saw kits being attacked by a hungry fox. She was old but still as fierce as ever so she wasted no time. Suncloud fought with every bit of strength she had. It was a miracle that she had won but all things came at a price it seemed. Her life was taken that day and Liftedstar came to find her dead, "Go on my son and live," she wished he could hear. Light and a familiar pelt brushing against hers. She felt young again and happier when she saw a dark ginger tom looking at her with loving bright amber eyes.
"Burningstar!"
