Her creamy colored pelt blended in with the deep brambles. Her eyse fixed on that camp entrance. Warriors were rumping around. For some reason, today, the camp was wild with excitement. She hadn't been caught yet and for some reason her patience was running thin. She let out a soft hiss and watched. When the moment was right she would...make a run for it. With a nasty grin when the clearing was empty she bolted. The snobby princess she-kit walked around. Her brown tail high in the air. Se snuffed and ran around the open moor. The brambles were her secret place. A place where she could hide for awhile. A place where she could play even as the patrols went by. Warriors could never fit in the small brambles. But she could with space to move. She looked around to make sure no one was looking before she slipped her small body into a hole."This small tunnel leads to my secret place." Her mew echoed. SHe was lucky. It was only kit sized which meant only an apprentice or kit could go in. She climbed until it opened into the brambles."Its my place and no one will find it."

The she-cat let out a tired mrrow as she woke, stretching before taking a glance around the nursery. Her mother was sleeping soundly beside her, and Sandkit didn't dare wake her. The little kit's stomach rumbled in hunger before she realized how late it was. 'Ah! Great, just what I needed: to sleep in.' Guilt pawed at her belly aw she rose to her small paws. 'I'll never be an apprentice at this rate..' Any mistake, any little wrong-doing, and Sandkit feared she would remain a kit for her entire life. A quick grooming later and the she-cat bounded out of the nursery. A few of the older cats greeted her, only for the kit to quietly nod in return.
Finally out of the the nursery's way, she glanced around camp; her amber eyes caught sight of a nearly empty clearing. 'That's strange,' she thought to herself, 'Maybe there's just a patrol.' Her curiosity shone through for a brief moment as the thought of venturing out of camp. She had only done it once, and she was with her brother. Sandkit suddenly sighed in frustration as her usual down self returned. She all of a sudden didn't want to be around others.. so she dashed out of camp before anyone could see her.
It wasn't long until Sandkit was lost. The she-cat was now wandering around with an empty stomach and despair. True, she had managed to find one of her clan-mate's scents, but she was never the best tracker around. The kit lifted her nose and clumsily nosed around until she reached some brambles. "Eh? No one would ever fit in there.." (She had been hoping to maybe run into a warrior, but it seemed impossible.) Sandkit sighed in defeat and pocked at the sticks with her black forepaw. She was pretty tired by now, and maybe a nap would clear her head better than if she kept running around in circles. She hastily slunk inside.
"Er.. Hello?" Sandkit blinked in surprise as her nose bumped into something, or someone.. She recognized the scent as WindClan, but what kind of a cat would be hiding in here?
[Sorry it's long ^^; I just babbled about Sand's way to the forest]

She whipped around. Her heart racing. Someone had found her? Her creamy white and brown fur stood on end. She unsheathed her claws ready to protect her 'clan camp' as any warrior would."How did you find this place?" Her eyes burned with anger. She wasn't one of those friendly cats who welcomed everyone. She wasn't the kind of cat to trust and be friends with everyone. SHe was the cat that the toms like and followed around most she-cats wished they were her. Because of that treatment she was a spoiled brat as her sisters and brothers used for insults.
She took in the kits scent, it was another windclan kit. "Look maybe you should leave. "Her tone was bitter and sharp."This is my secret place find your own!" SHe hissed. She was far from nice. Alpinekit had what you would call a bitter toungue.

Sandkit's relief only lasted a few briefs seconds. She flattened her ears at the cat's first question; she didn't sound very happy. The kit figured that the other cat might be happy to let her rest there, seeing as they were clan-mates and all, but apparently kindness was not on the cat's agenda. Sandkit's fur prickled uneasily as she heard the kit's mew, realizing just who it was. 'Great.. Of all the kits in the clan, I had to run into Miss Perfect.' Alpinekit held herself highly, but even Sandkit had to admit she envied the pretty she-kit. After all, her weird sandy pelt was nothing compared to the other she-cat's.
Before she could reply, Alpinekit snapped at her again. Sandkit shrunk back, feeling the slight poke of brambles in her fur; this was what she feared would happen every day, and it finally was. "I-I can't!" she finally shrieked, her heart falling to the floor at the other cat's obvious dislike and rejection of her being there. Sandkit took a shaky breath before looking down. She muttered a few words so quietly that she wondered if the she-cat even heard her. "I'm lost. I don't know where camp is.."

Alpinekit laughed. She knew it. This cat couldn't talk to her just like everyone else in the clan. Everyone was afraid of her. She was to perfect. SHe knew it all. She would be Alpinestar one day and they all knew it. She scoffed before turning around."The exit is behing that lichen." She pointed to a small den like entrance."Camp is past the empty badgerset." She made it clear that she wasn't liking sandkits company."However since you are just so tired." She spun around and went in the other direction."You can sleep in the moss nest...." She mewed."Just don't let anyone know I was being nice and we will be 'friends'." Friends...yes... only outside of camp though.
