Brokenkit was the youngest kit in her litter. She had two sisters, Heatherkit and Leafkit, and a brother, Eaglekit. No one knew who their father was, because her mother refused to say anything about him. It was assumed that he was outside the Clan. Her siblings died soon after they were born, and her mother abandoned her—and the rest of the Clan—to be a kittypet.;;apprenticeship.:
Brokenpaw was apprenticed to a young tomcat, just given his warrior name. She trained hard, thriving on his praises and attention. She spent most of her time with him, because he became jealous and angry when she talked to other cats. When she was eight moons old, she found out that she was expecting kits. Shocked and horrified, her mentor/mate fled and hasn't been seen since. Brokenpaw's son, Mudkit, was born dead. His sister, Rainkit, followed him soon after. Needless to say, she trained with she-cats for the rest of her apprenticeship.;;warrior days.:
Brokenwings received her warrior name at thirteen moons, after finishing her training with whichever warriors were available. She has been a warrior for two moons.
