Her small figurine danced elegantly in the moonlight. Her lithe windclan figure was followed by the rest. Her deputy, the newly named warrior seance, the newly named apprentice Wheatpaw. And a few others. She had put the also newly named warrior Chestnutflame in charge, he was a good tom...very smart and witty and if the time were to come would make a very good deputy and even leader one day. Tonight she would announce that lightningstrike was her deputy which none of the clans had known. In fact no one really knew she was a leader...no one knew that Icestar had died. It would be an eventful night. A lot had happened since the previous gathering when she was just deputy. Now it would be her turn to tell Windclans stories.

Lynxstar walked with his clan, a small smirk on his face. He was never to fond of gatherings, and often times tried a very quiet approach which came out as stuck up. Father, Riverpaw whisperred walking beside the leader. Why must ShadowClan attend this? Lynxstar playfully hit his sons head with his tail, a smile playing on his lips. They enterred the clearing, he and Riverpaw, Mallowfang-His deputy, Tearlight-His medicine cat, and whoever else he had chosen.

Bumblebreeze stared at her leader's flicking tail. She blinked, her mind drifting farther and farther away into Starclan's beautiful starfields. She sighed, and sidestepped a root that often caught up unwatchful apprentices. She blinked again and thought about what Ebonystar had said about her leader and her. It made her cheeks warm and fill her body with hot moving fluid that kept the icy winds at bay. She swallowed a gasp of night hair and felt a sharp stinging sensation in her lungs. Her eyes fluttered to the full moon. Was Ebonystar watching her?
Chase stomped along after Riverpaw and his leader. He was a social, and so, in the least, enjoyed the moonly gatherings. But tonight his mind was too preoccupied with his willful apprentice, Brackenpaw. He almost felt the need to beg the leader for any other apprentice. But there had to be some reason he had given him Brackenpaw. With this thought in his head Chase resolved to crack the little male and show him what a true warrior was. Holding up his head, he entered the clearing stealthily along with the rest of his chosen clanmates...

Liftedstar padded to the many scents of cats in the clearing along with the cats he named in camp to come, Lionglory, Fishtail, Icefeather, Lovepaw, Maskedpaw, Banditpaw, Nightpaw, Shallowstream, Sparrowbreeze, Foxrain, Ravensfeather, and Silver-rain. ThunderClan was strong and he wanted to show it. He would soon tell the other Clans of this in the best way he saw fit. Once he padded through to see all the other cats in the clearing he padded toward the where all the leaders were. He climbed to the highest branch available.

Lightningstrike watched his leader carefully, trying to understand what she might be feeling. Giving up on that to avoid making himself a jumbled mess he looked around the clearing at the other cats gathered.
Banditpaw brushed against Maskedpaw, his excitement like static electricity in the air. Other cats, cats he had never met, hovered silently around the clearing. The moon shone brightly in the sky and he hoped it wouldn't be covered.

Nightpaw slid into the clearing, creeping upon the cats like fallen dusk, slowly and coolly, uncaring of what they thought. This girl did as she wanted. She was arrogant, or rude, she was just... Nightpaw. Her blazing blue eyes examined the clearing in front of her. It was her first gathering, and what she hoped to be her last, she was bored stiff. Suddenly she caught the movement of eyes in the far corner. They seemed to reach out and grab her. She shot backwards into her own shroud of darkness, becoming just another shadow in the night.
Spinpaw flicked her tail eagerly, her jaws parting in a yawn she had forced down so hard all afternoon. She was finally here, finally where she had wanted to be her whole life. Her eyes barely grazed the cats before weaving her way towards the front in hopes to get really close to the other clan leaders. To see what they were like. It didn't matter that they were from other clans, what mattered was that they were leaders. They had power beyond her belief. Her fur stood on end, bristling at the mere thought of ever sitting on one of those mighty branches, and then vowed silently to herself that she would someday sit on the tallest of the tall branches. No matter what it took.

Tearlight silently followed her leader into the clearing, her grey eyes searched through the cat's bodies, trying to spot the other medicine cats. Shadowclan cats enclosed her and she didn't dare dart away, but it was important that she at least see the other medicine cats. They were able to share a special bond, that overcame clan rivalries, especially at the peace of the gathering. But she couldn't seem to find the medicine cats, in the sea of warm bodies. She dropped her gaze sighing. [/color]

Cricketstar stood up tall now. Her small figurine standing near the large branch. She spotted the other leaders, She would have to annouce icestars death..something she would never have to do.
"Greetings Cricketleap..." Mallowfang dipped his head to the Windclan deputy. The she-cat which he had always admired. She had a lot of bravery for a cat so young to touch on a serious position."How is Icestar...I saw you leading windclan in..."
Cricketstars blue eyes looked into Mallowfangs amber eyes."Icestar has died Mallowfang. I am now Cricketstar and Lightningstrike is my deputy. Everyone saw it comming...Starclan forsaw it."
Mallowfang dipped his head aplogetically."You are brave for taking on such a high position with that we honor you. Good luck cricketstar.... you might need it. Tension has been growing between clans..... I hope your clan stays well."With that the deputy dipped his head and walked off.

OOC: Sorry, a little late X3
Creekstar slipped out of the shadows as if she were one herself, followed by a few cats of RiverClan. Her deputy walked silently behind her. The full moon glowed overhead, casting long shadows on the trees.
OOC: Short Post, a little sloppy, I didn't take much time

Lovepaw had never seen so many cats in her life! so many different patterns and shapes she couldnt believe it! She stayed by her mentor yet knowing she would feel better if her apprentice hung out with the other apprentices, she would once she was going to be able to open up to other cats. She then padded down to the center of the clearing and sat down. She just watched everyone else and wondered, I wonder where all of the other medicine cats are... She gazed around with her green glassy eyes and her mind wouldnt stop working. She couldnt believe this was her first gathering. She was very happy but yet didnt want to mes this up for her or for her clan. Even her mentor.

A sigh came from his lips, he was tired and aching to start. He starred down at the Gathering, restless. His tail flicked helplessly annoyed. Liftedstar waited for his fellow leaders as patiently as his mind would let him. With one small hiss he longed to call out to the other Clans, but knew that he could not without the other leaders on the tree.
(Thought I'd get something going.)

Blue eyes watched as the leaders gathered. All four were here so it was time.....most cats had mingled. She didnt mind ruining other clans fun. " Greetings liftedstar. How is Thunderclan lately?" Cricketstar mewed. She would have let the tom know about windclans tragic death, but the fact that the she-cat was now leading instead of icestar was a good clue.

Creekstar began looking for cats from other Clans to speak to. She spotted many, so many... a typical Gathering. Everyone was mingling, having fun. The RiverClan leader flicked her tail. She spotted Cricketstar and Liftedstar chatting, and she padded around throngs of cats just like them, speaking. Creekstar felt a shiver pass through her as she saw Cricketstar. Another cat was dead. It was just too horrible...

He hearkaned their conversation lightly, his silver ears flicking every now and again as if disturbed. He listened to the wind's sigh in desperation to drown out the little that he could of the meaningless chatter between warrriors and apprentices. Should we begin? he asked. His voice a subtle whisper. Emerald depths scanned the clearing, seeing naught, but making an effort none the less.
OOC: Well I'm not as good as Shade, but there you go.
