Slowly, Bexx nodded her head. Of course. she agreed. But then theres no point in keeping me around... she thought, and then suddenly found herself saying that. But then you won't need me around, will you? she said, her voice light, but her heart dreaded his answer. She swallowed silently.

He smiled at the leap to conclusions she had made. Of course I would, there will always be more kits and I would want a teacher I trusted for them. He said, his grin widening. He wouldn't get rid of her, he knew that, not even if she no longer provided a use to him.

More kits. Bexx repeated dully, numb with relief that he would just boot her from the group. She didn't even bother pointing that other cats that were just as trustworthy could teach the skills to the cats. He trusted her. He trusted her. He trusted her. Her heart swelled. She had only been here for a short time and yet she had gained this man's trust. She smiled back. When do I start?

He shrugged, Whenever you think it's nessesary. I trust your judgement. He had allowed a small amount of warmth into his words, and now flinched as he realized that he had in fact nearly said something completely different.

Hmm... Alright. I just wonder how well it will go over some of the cats. she said slowly. Her eyes flickered with a moment of uncertainty. Maybe If I taught only the kits right now then they would be more open to learning it, rather than trying to force something onto cats who have grown up without it. she suggested. Or either way... Her stomach flopped, her heart twitched, her lips curled in a broader smile.

He nodded. Whatever you'd like to do, Bexx. He said, once more looking down at the ground as he did in times of great uncertainty. His tail flicked left and right as he ponderred thought unknown. His smile slowly fading.

Well... Bexx said after a lengthy silence. I should bring this back to camp. she nudged the mouse again. And then slowly picked it up in her jaw, it's cold, furry body feeling foreign against her rough tongue. It blocked out the scents of the night.
my out of character : lol... Something needs to happen. Like Rogueclan cats or something...

No you shouldn't A new voice came from behind them, a large black tom being it's bearer. His name was Chain, he was of Rogueclan, or so his scent gave off. He looked at Bexx curiously then too Lachance, pretending to not pay much attention while really taking in as much information as possible.
OOC;; Hope that works.

my out of character : that should do it...
Bexx looked on with open curiosity. And why not? she demanded at the strange cat, her fur prickling on her back. What I do has nothing to do with you. she glanced immediately to her side when Lachance stood, willing him to let onto some hint of who this cat might be. Judging by the tone of the strange creature, he was none to friendly. Her lip curled a little as his pungent scent hit her glands.

Hello Chain. Lachance's voice was cold, a tone he had never used in the presence of his group. Miss me much? I bet Thyme does, oh... That's right. Chain's eyes were a black color, he looked almost demon-like in the starlight bathed clearing. Lachance hissed furiously, though, something kept him from leaping, perhaps Bexx's Presence? He didn't know. He's my sisters old mate. He explained quickly, hating to see her left out of a story.

A sister? Oh. she said coolly, eyeing the cat with renewed wonder, though skillfully masked behind dull disinterest. Her ears flattened a little, it was a little to obvious that Lachance didn't exactly divulge in this cat's presence. She still wondered why family had never been mentioned, though she realized she really hadn't known this man that long. She dropped the mouse, which she had gripped by the tail in order to allow herself to talk. It hit the ground, she immediately sunk her claws into the dead and growing colder mouse.

[ooc- hope you don't mind me barging in, let me know if you do and I'll disappear like a ghost.]
Deathcall stalked silently from where she had been watching the she-cat called Bexx hunt. She had to admit she was getting better. Her eyes glowed with interest and the monster in her craved for a fight, for blood to be spilt, for her to be the one to spill it.

my out of character : I don't mind, I think it will be more interesting.
Stricken by the overwhelming new scent, Bexx released her hold on her prized mouse. Deathcall. she said softly, her muscles bunched in surprise. Her breath drew up short. Her history hadn't been good with the she-cat that stood in front of her. But she, like Bexx, was a loyal Elite member, wasn't she? She would stand on their side and bare down Chain. She swallowed and glanced nervously at Lachance. How long had this strange cat been watching?

b]Your getting better at hunting. Those were Deathcall's first words and they were genuine. She may not like this other she-cat but she wasn't that mean. I've been watching for a while now if that's what you want to know. She turned to face Chain, her eyes gleaming with anger and excitement. What are you doing here? Her voice was little more then a growl and her muscles were bunched as she prepared to spring. The only one that could stop her now was Lachance.
