..ICESTORM... Where had she gone wrong? Her crystal and gentle blue eyes looked up to the sky. Stars twinkled and she felt her dark heart slowly melt. She had lost a friend. Herself. This bitterness she wanted it to end but...Redclaw...she promised. All she had to learn now to be perfect was how to save a life. However even she as powerful as she had become even she couldn't do that. Step one...done...Step two:Save a life incomplete
Starclan stared politely at her. They were on two opposites of the spectrum. Left and Right. Where did she go wrong? Perhaps she lost starclans faith. She would stay up all night long just to get some sort of sign. She cringed and looked to her paws."Starclan take me away...." Icestorm simply shook her eyes."Why....did I have to be so dark.." A bright light flashed before her and suddenly the earth stood still....

Ice shook her tail and growled at the red ginger tom."How dare you!" Her claws unsheathed and slashed at him. Blood splattered on the forest floor."I saved your life and you betray me by taking over my clan?" With that the pure white she-cat attacked. Her eyes turning red and a new power formed about her."You will bow down to me. I am your leader?" Darkness shrounded around her. An eery glow that no cat would understand.
"LIAR!!!!" Fire growled." You did not save me I have trained to be more powerful than you. What do you think when Fire and Ice collides! Its a prophecy Ice. I will Fullfill it by killing you!" He paused."WAKE ME UP INSIDE!!!!" He yowled and his fur grew red. It would be a battle to the end. He charged foward his red claws unsheathed and slashed through Ice's fur. His claws now tainted with his leaders blood."Ice melts...it dies when Fire and Ice collides..." He finished as he watched his leaders body collapse to the ground." May our clan know who was the real leader.." He cackled.
Ice struggled to stand but managed."FIRE FREEZES WHEN ICE MELTS IT PUTS OUT THE FIRE!" She hissed baring her teeth in a nasty snarl."WAKE ME UP INSIDE!" Ice had an odd blue glow to her fur. Both Fire and Ice were face to face. Death would be what would end this battle. Only one cat would be alive."DIE!" She dug her fangs into the toms throat but found herself to be burning and let go."GAH!"
FIre snickered."Let his be the end of Iceclan and the beggining of Fireclan!" With that he raised his paw and swiped down. Crashing into Ice's skull...."Let my kin inherit my firery powers!"
Ice closed her eyes for the impact."Let me Heritage bear my powers..." She whispered to herself.

Icestorm woke with a shock. She had not fallen asleep completely but blanked out. Was this the sign that Starclan had been meaning to give. Did Ice die in that battle or was that just one of many in the war between fire and Ice. Perhaps Ice and Fire were both deputies, two in one clan...and Ice had become leader...."Redclaw and I....are we meant to fight to the death..." She hadn't meant to talk out loud." Am I Ice reincarnated....Is he Fire..." She shuttered. Her or his Death could be near. And ONly she knew it.... |

...FIRESTORM... Firestorm chuckled as he looked at Icestorm.Redclaw wasn't the only one who wanted power in Shadowclan. He would make sure of it. He watched from afar, he watched her fall. What in the name of starclan had happened to her? He wanted to look and see if she was okay but that would give away his hiding place and that was the last thing he wanted to do right now. He lowered himself into the bushes and waited.
Who was she yelling at? Fire and Ice? Boy was Acornstar a loon for choosing her to be deputy. She was talking to herself. Again! Firestorm laughed this certainly would be an interesting story to tell the clan when he was done patrolling. Yes that was what he was doing. However he would have to walk behind icestorm in order to make it because if he didn't they would certainly think that he had patrolled alone which was certainly not ok. However thoughts came to his mind.."Starclan show me my destiny...what am I meant to do as a warrior?" Why did he say that...it made no sense to him....

Ice closed her eyes for the impact."Let me Heritage bear my powers..." She whispered to herself. However this wouldn't be the end of her. She felt the blow go to her head and she collasped. Her breathing slowed and then stopped.
Fire nodded."See I told you I would kill you Ice. You tried to defy me and this is what happens. " He felt blood seep around his paws. It made him feel good."Fireclan starts now..." The tom turned around and started to walk back into the shadows of the forest." I am your leader...FIRE!"
Ice suddenly stood up weary. She was a leader. Nine lives were granted."FIRE!" She spat. She had four more to spare and this would not end until all of them were gone."This isn't over yet..." Lightning crashed and a fire started in the trees and sooned formed a circle around them. A large ring of fire. It also began to rain but even that was not enough.
Fire let out a gasp." I thought I Killed you?" He fell shaken How did she come back. Did a leader have special powers to have more than one life? He snorted."I will kill you as many times as I need too so I can lead.... and rule the forest." Fire stepped forward claws unsheathed and let out a battle cry."Fire VS ICE who will win?"
"I WILL!" The white she-cat mewed. Responding to his challenger by unsheathing her claws and letting out a battle cry.
"No Ice you are wrong it is me. I will fufill this prophecy like I promised."

Firestorm awoke from his dream. So that was what happened to Icestorm. He stepped out of his hiding place and moved over."You know M'love..My fiery passion will melt your heart..." He laughed into her ear and moved back. Yes he knew. He knew he would fight Icestorm. However he wouldn't let her know just yet... He would let her continue thinking it would be someone else. She woulc prepare for someone much weaker than him.
With that he walked off into the shadows. What would the she-cat have to say now. He had the biggest secret in his paws. The answer to the secret was war. But that answer would not be shared for a fairly long time. |

Icestorm whipped around suddenly. She felt her head go heavy as if a powerful blow was just struck to it. She called out in pain but something just struck her. His fiery passion will melt my frozen heart away? He knew..... But wasn't she supposed to fight Redclaw... She was sure of it. Firestorm was a strong powerful warrior but he was not evil that was for sure. The only evil cat he knew of was Redclaw."He was joking.....wasn't he he can't know...." She scoffed. However there was one connection she had yet to make. She knew that she was Ice, however she did not know that Firestorm was indeed Fire and she would be fighting him to the death. "hey...WAIT! If we both go back alone and without prey Acornstar will be suspicious!"
