[So I started Hauntedpaw's first training session so I need Abyss to make an appearance. But if you're to busy that's okay.]
Hauntedpaw sat staring blankly up at the dark, stormy sky. The day looked unforgiving to any mistakes. Her eyes were blank as she waited for her Abyss, her mentor and deputy, to make an appearance. She didn't really care if he showed up or not. She didn't even care if she lived to see the next day. No longer content to stare at the sky she turned away and slunk into the shadows to wait. No need for anyone to stare at her for sitting in the middle of camp. They were probably confused enough as to why she even bothered to leave the apprentices den.

abyss worked his way through several warriors before reaching his apprentice. his first, which also went against the code. that, and well, he had no warrior name. hauntedpaw probably wouldn't enjoy her apprenticeship, he decided, seeing as he wasn't that friendly and barely spoke. "hello hauntedpaw," he said coldly.

Hauntedpaw rested her dead gray eyes on Abyss. "Hello." Her voice was ghostly quiet and even colder then her mentor's. She sat staring at him, waiting for him to make the first move, he was the mentor after all.

abyss sighed. come on then, lets go look at the territory. he replied blandly, voice a bit dead and hollow. why should he make an effort if she didn't want it?

Hauntedpaw wordlessly followed the older cat out of camp. She had to admit that she felt a bit of curiosity, she had never been out of camp before. Her ears pricked up slightly and her tail no longer dragged on the ground. Her gray eyes held a slight sparkle to them and for the first time since getting sick she looked alive. Of course, noticing the difference, she tried to hide it.

abyss hid a smile behind a glassy smirk. i was just like you when i first came to the clan, he said without looking back at her. emotion isn't something to hide, true he was a hypocrite by saying that. it'd be like him saying forbidden loves were bad, even though his mate was Frostmoon of ShadowClan.
OOC:: PM me if I don't reply, lol, it means I forgot.

Hauntedpaw looked up at Abyss and let out a sigh. He really didn't know much about her at all. She had once been a happy little kit, full of energy and smiles. Then the sickness had come, robbing more then one cat of their lives. Somehow she had survived though it left her as little more then an empty shell. Slowly she was regaining her emotion but it hurt the more she felt. She continued to pad into the forest with her mentor, letting the smells of the woods fill her. It was all so different from what she was used to. Nearby a bird screeched causing her to jump in surprise, her fur stood on end until she finally managed to calm down. She thought she could hear her mentor's laugh but it was all in her imagination, at least for now. Her eyes were filled with a new world and she wasn't quite sure of what to think of it.

Hauntedpaw nodded at his words. If I ever get to be a warrior. She sniffed the air gently, taking in its scent so she would remember it. "Is this our border with Shadowclan or Windclan?"
