Name:
Ivykit | Ivypaw | Ivyheart
Age:
10 moons
Rank:
Apprentice
Gender:
queen
Clan:
RiverClan
Personality:
Ivypaw is rather quiet and usually likes to keep to herself. She does her very best to please her Clanmates and still strives to show them she belongs among their ranks, whether she needs to do so or not. She’s a fast learner and enjoys her Clan lifestyle. With as quiet as she is, some may assume she is rather hostile, but this is not the case at all – Ivypaw is quite friendly and enjoys a laugh, especially among her fellow RiverClan apprentices. She also enjoys listening to the elders tell tales of the past; she longs to be counted among their great stories one day, and is desperate to prove herself an excellent warrior – especially considering she is not a true Clan cat. Ivypaw has heard the stories of cats being killed and chased from their Clans because they weren’t truly Clanborn, and some nights she still curls up in her nest afraid that something will change in her leader’s opinion of her and she’ll be chased away by morning.
Description:
Overview: Small, dark ginger she-cat with brilliant green eyes.
Extended: Ivypaw is quite stunning for a young apprentice. She is careful to keep her dark ginger coat shining and rarely mussed. The color of her fur really offsets her deep green eyes, from which she received her name. She has short, sharp claws and fangs, and is a natural-born hunter. She is a graceful cat who makes even the most awkward movements look simple and elegant. Her reflexes are lightning-fast as well, and she is very agile. Her tail is long and slender, as are her other four limbs, but her fully muscled power often goes unnoticed until it is put to use.
History:
Since being taken in and raised as one of RiverClan’s own, Ivypaw has led a good life. Her earliest memory is of splashing in the river with (she assumes) her siblings, and then being swept downstream away from them. After a dangerous journey which left the kit nearly drowned, she was yanked out by a RiverClan patrol. The concerned clan sent another patrol out, but found no trace of her siblings or mother, and so they adopted Ivypaw as one of their own. Even though the memory is fuzzy, Ivypaw is extremely grateful and especially devoted to her Clanmates – in particular her mentor, who was one of the patrolling cats when she was rescued as a kit.
