It wasn't very wise to be traveling into WindClan territory. If they had traveled another route it would have been much a safer and much more respectful to the WindClan cats. Never in his life did he think he would be traveling through forbidden territory. He had always been fond of WindClan and liked the feeling of the strong wind on his long white fur but that wouldn't help them now. Times were getting harder for them because they never stopped moving. When his sister was hurt she was still making plans and never telling him about it. Whatever were to happen, though, he would be right there waiting to catch her when she fell.
The wind was now picking up scents of WindClan cats and his mind started to become more uncomfortable and aware. It was hard not to turn back now but he knew if his sister didn't follow he would stay and she wasn't about to turn back. Though the thought to her was out of the question, to him it was nothing to at least ask the question.
"Honeybee," he meowed loudly to her, seeing that she was too far ahead to whisper. He ran ahead and stood by her side before he went on, "Why don't we turn back? I'm sure WindClan would very much appreciate it. It isn't the best thing to say when we are simply walking through their territory without the even slightest of notice."
Her fur was prickling with anxiety on this cool day in newleaf. Dawn was upon them and she knew if they didn't pick it up soon they would be left out in the rain, if any came. She hadn't eaten anything since she left RiverClan (even there she ate almost nothing) and the smells of rabbits were so tempting to her now. Even just a simple bite would quench her hunger for even a moment. She shook that out of her mind and kept walking, faster now. WindClan would not be too happy with her if she did such a thing and she couldn't think or tell if she'd be to happy either.
Her brother's worry was well-known to her but she could not and would not stop and turn back now. If only he knew of what she saw and excepted that their father may very well be alive. But she knew, if she told him, he would find her crazy and demand that they turn back and go back to the barn they called their home. It wasn't hard for her to think about it for a second when she picked up the scents of WindClan but she shook her head, she would not turn back. Muscles were aching but she pushed her golden fur on through the windy moors of WindClan, following the almost too stale scent of her father.
She heard him yell and turned to see if something was wrong. When she saw that nothing was she hissed to herself quietly, almost cursing the ground he walked upon for stopping her. With a swift swish of her tail she commenced in walking. Her teeth shown now as she spoke, "I will not turn back now, I have almost achieved my goal! You may go if you like but I doubt you will." She stopped, almost to pause and take in the fragrant air, "And what kind of notice was I supposed to give them? Do you think I would just waltz into their camp, so casually just to ask them permission?" Her tone turned softer now as she went on, "I'm sorry Cricket, I like WindClan as much as you do but we (well I), can not stop now."
