Its all a lie ;; No it isn't
Velvet nose twitching, Tearlight carefully made her way out of the hollow that served as the medicine cat den. She perked her ears, listening for the sounds of any other cats. She pressed her paws softly to the ground, not wanting to disturb any of the sleeping forms in the camp.
Just a secret ;; [/color] Tearlight had a very good reason to be up and about at this unearthly hour, for it was the only time that she would be able to collect the herb that she needed. She hadn't even bothered to wake her apprentice, Darkpaw; sleeping soundly in the medicine den. She flicked her tail, sneaking past tall pines, and out of the camp. That no one needs to know ;; [/color] She trudged slowly and warily onward, keeping all her senses alert. She barely made a sound as she glided through the forest. Her movements like a gentle breathe of air. Then some deep instinct stopped her in her tracks, something was not right. [/size][[/color] |

Iceyes had left the camp he could not sleep. The evil thought had yet again crept into his mind. Nights like these he was afraid to sleep for his evil father would haunt his dreams. He would feel like he was one step closer to becoming him. So when this happened he would come here. The night times sounds and scents always calmed him. There songs were almost like a gently lullaby daring him into a warm sleep,But no he couldn't fall asleep. He had almost fell asleep when he heard a noise he jumped up quickly half scared to death. He turned and saw it was only the medicine cat. He crept up on her and said in a gently voice "need any help there." hoping no to scare her.

When she heard the sound of Iceyes meowing, Tearlight insides jumped in fright, but she wouldn't let her body give her away. Her emotions were careful hidden behind a near perfect facade. She politely turned to Iceyes "oh, I didn't think anyone else was up." she mewed. " I was just going to gather some herbs." Her ears flicked. " and no I don't need help, but if your offering I would be glad to accept it." the beginnings of a smile were playing at the edge of her lips.

Iceyes eyes shifted back to the herbs she was gathering. He didnt notice them and he wonder what they were for. He wanted to keep the conersation away from he was out here so early. So he walked up and picked up some of the herbs and asked threw his teeth" what are thesefor." Accidently droping one he quikcly picked it back up and thought he jsut beetter shu tup befor he ruined the herbs.

Its best if I collect them when they are pollinating though, which happens to be early in the morning" She quickly explained before clutching the rest of the pile in her teeth. She beckoned him with her tail, indicating that they were heading back toward camp. She didn't try to speak through the leaves, and patiently and methodically made her way through the trees. Iceyes nodded and followed Tearlight threw the forest back to camp. He paws we heavy with weariness from lack of sleep. He thought we wondering from the forest which he was on. He wondered what the life of a medicine cat would be like. He thought it would be lonely never having a mate. Iceyes hadn't yet thought of taking a mate he really wasn't looking he kinda expected one day it just would just jump out at him. Lost in his deep thought he had almost crashed into a tree but gracefully stepped aside greatful that he had caught himself in time.

Before she knew it Tearlight found her paws padding into the area that marked the shadowclan camp. She made her way towards the medicine cat den, looking back at Iceyes to make sure she hadn't lost him. She paused placing the herbs near the entrance to her den. "You can put them down right there" She meowed, nodding towards the pile with her head. "Thank you for helping."

Iceyes droped the herbs on the floor. He looked around the den seemed dark in the early morning the apprentice was if a fast sleep on the floor. "If you ever need help again dont worry to ask." He shifted akwardly and got up to leave the den. The rain was starting to come down as he almost reached the door of the den.

"ok" she replied hastily looking back towards Iceyes. The damp smell of water permeated the air, and Tearlight could hear the gentle dripping of the rain as it began to fall down. Outside the morning light was barely visible, the sun had barely started to peak the horizon, but because of the dark clouds not much light was visible. Then shaking and snapping to attention she snatched up the pile of herbs. Traveling to the back of her den she carefully placed them in her stores. Even though she didn't see she could sense that Iceyes was still in her den, most likely hesitant to venture out into the rain. She padded to her apprentice nudging darkpaw and hoping that would wake the cat.
