Lynxstar leaped up onto the meeting rock, or whatever it was, and gatherred his clan. Scanning the apprentices and the warriors that were without apprentices.
Mudfrost you are ready for your second apprentice. You are an excellent hunter and a wonderful leader figure. I expect you to share them with Spinpaw.
Cloudchase you are ready for your first apprentice. You are a quick thinker and a brave warrior. I expect you to share them with Brackenpaw.
Saying that he let the air settle so he could apprentice the last apprentice. I will mentor Crowpaw. And with that all the apprentices were to touch noses with their new mentors and start their training.

Crowpaw blinked in surprise when Lynxstar said that he would mentor him. He padded foward to touch noses with his mentor, his blue eyes shining with curiousity and a small spark of pride. The leader was to be his mentor, the cat he had looked to all his life would be teaching him the way of the warrior.

awww ROSEPAW HAS NO MENTOR!!!
Brackenpaw sighed moving towards Cloudchase touching noses with him gently. Rosepaw would be so upset knowing that he was training and she would not be until a warrior was ready to take her on as an apprentice. He would teach her how things worked in training. He would be mentored and he would mentor her.

Crowpaw looked at Rosepaw who sat silently without a mentor. He felt bad that he should receive Lynxstar as a mentor and that she would be left without one.
Poisonpetal looked on the ceremonies in dismay. She was ready for an apprentice, maybe they didn't trust her to teach another cat. They probably feared she would pass on her bloodthirsty ways, make another killer in the clan.
Deepkit watched with growing excitement. It wouldn't be too long now before he became an apprentice. He stared at Crowpaw, he was so lucky to have Lynxstar as a mentor. His eyes drifted over the other apprentices before he padded back toward the nursery.
[Poisonpetal might be able to mentor her as well as Rainpaw until she can get another mentor if you'll allow it. Just a suggestion though its weird.]

Frostmoon looked over, her blue eyes brimming with excitement. She purred in gratitude to her leader lynxstar and gently touched noses with the young apprentice."You will have so much fun....and don't ever think lynxstar would forget you....hes just busy sometimes...."

Haunting sapphire blue eyes looked out over the sea of cat bodies. Rainpaw had a decent view of all the mentors and their apprentices. She was waiting patiently and hoped that lynxstar would assign her a good mentor. She hoped the leader didn't forget. Of course Rainpaw would be the one to be forgotten. She licked her paw, bringing it over her ears. she sighed, it wasn't like she mattered anyway, who cared if she didn't get a mentor anyway? She stared out into the crowd again, her blue eyes masked with black circles had a faraway look in them. [/color]

Crawling forward on slow steady paws, Rainpaw made her way toward Poisonpetal, her new mentor. She lightly touched her velvet soft nose to the warrior's, a shiver of fear went through her, but she struggled hard not to show it. Stepping back she let her head drop, her ears parallel to the ground. She slowly made her way back into the crowd, weaving through warm cat bodies.

Yellow-green eyes glowed from the shadows and Darkpaw looked up at her leader. She cast a scathing glance at the other cats and rolled her eyes. All the apprentices seemed so excited to get a mentor, she'd rather not have one at all, she knew the ropes. She sighed heavily and stood up, her muscles flexing under her multi-colored pelt. She walked over closer to her leader and sat down in a dark shadow. She waited for her name to be called. Darkpaw flicked her tail tip and waited impatiently, just hoping it would be over soon...
