On his mind crept things of the future that would come to pass. A new deputy had to be named, mentors had to be given, and two lucky apprentices would earn their warrior names today. These things had faced him like a brisk wind on a sunny day. It took him a while to think of who would be the right cat to take his place when he died. A cat who would protect the Clan with his/her life and would face impossible odds with dignity. He thought long and hard on this, as he did for the other ceremonies today, and then knew it.
His paws led him out of his den and onto the Highledge. He saw his Clan running about under the ledge. A smile crept to him as he watched them for a moment, even in leafbare they were strong together. Liftedstar's voice lifted above all the others in the clearing to call them together, "All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather under the Highledge for a Clan meeting."

Banditpaw padded from the apprentice's den, his eyes alight with curiousity. He wondered what ceremonies would be taking place. He sat silently beneathe the Highledge, waiting for his leader to precede.

Maskedpaw twirled elegantly forward placing her seat right next to banditpaw. he blue eyes sparkle warmly with excitement rising in her heart. She would finally be recieving a mentor just like lifted star had promised. She licked banditpaw between the ears."Aren't you excited?"

ill bring in a warrior! and Fishpaw is becomming a warrior anyways.... Right now...only maskedpaw and adderpaw need mentors
Hollyshadow stepped forward her blue eyes watching carefully as her leader called people over. She narrowed her eyes at her daughter adderpaw..... and her two sons, spiderpaw and sagepaw. They looked just like there father Slash who came fom rougeclan. She stiffled a sigh and took her place.
Icefeather, the medicine cat took her stand a warm smile a top her face. She would have to take on two apprentices.... which was odd, but she knew her time was near. She would bear kits and be killed... in the long run at least. So she would make this announcement when liftedstar was done.

Liftedstar looked at the Clan with his eyes bright, searching for a cat in particular. When all the Clan sat below him he lifted his voice again, "Today I need to do ceremonies that have long been put off." He meowed and looked around, waiting and then smiled. His eyes went to Maskedpaw and Adderpaw, "Apprentices need mentors and it's a little late but at least they will have them," he meowed and then went on, "I am ready to take on another apprentice and will take Maskedpaw as my apprentice. I will try and teach you all I know." He meowed and waited for her to come forward.
(I'll do one and then wait for Shade. Thanks for bringing a warrior in. ^^ And Banditpaw needs one too, right?)

Ravensfeather joined his mate, sitting straight in posture. His sapphire spheres were attentively focused on Liftedstar.

He looked up again to his Clan and searched again. A smile crossed his face as he found the others he was looking for. His voice raised again as he adressed the Clan, "Adderpaw, come forward," he meowed and then waited, "Ravensfeather, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You are wise and strong, pass that on to Adderpaw." He waited for them to touch noses before he went on.

Liftedstar kept his smile and looked up again. His eyes were bright with excitement as he looked around again once more. He kept his eyes on Ravensfeather, knowing what would come. Looking around at the eyes gazing at him. A loud boom came from his chest out of pride as he spoke, "Now is the time for a ceremony that is long forgotten." With a searching glance he went on, "I say this before StarClan that they may approve my decision," he paused and looked around, hopeful for his decision, "Ravensfeather will be the new deputy of ThunderClan. May you serve your Clan well."
(If any other apprentices need mentors I'll add them after this.)

OOC;; I have a deputy and a leader. it would be awesome to have the two brothers be deputies, start all kinda of wars, but id need blackies permission to take on another deputy before I respond.

Banditpaw let out a purr as Maskedpaw finally received a mentor, it became louder as Liftedstar announced that he would mentor her. Now he waited, barely able to remain still, to get his own mentor.

ooc:Ravensfeather can't be deputy. Shade owns lachance who is a leader...lynxstar who is a leader...and abyss who is a deputy if none of characters died she would have 4 leaders..... i suggest lionglory or ooc to find out who has no high positions
