Liftedstar lifted his body from his den and padded to the nursery. His smile was wide and caring as he entered. It hadn't been long at all since he had seen Rosie, for the first time he could see her whenever he wanted to. He was quiet as he padded in, careful not to wake the queens or the kits.
Rosie slowly opened her eyes and looked up at him. A smile crossed her to match his as she saw him pad in. Her stomach turned a little with pain and she knew her heavy stomach needed relief. Love flooded through her as she looked up at her secret mate. Her lips moved as she spoke in a soft voice, "What are you doing up so early," she meowed, "The sun is barely in the sky."
He blinked lovingly at her, "I just thought I'd go out for a nice morning hunt and catch the prey as they come out. I wanted to see you as well."
She purred and flicked her tail to the entrance of the den, "You better hurry then," she meowed happily, "Before the prey is already out."
He nodded and padded closer to her. Now he bent his neck to lick her cheek, "I love you," he said with a smile.
"I love you too," she meowed with an echoing happiness, "Now go on, feed your Clan." Her meow was happy and free as she spoke.

Liftedstar padded silently through the trees and the hazy morning. Something about this morning felt odd as if something was going to be lost. He shrugged the feeling off as he made his way to the beach. His eyes caught the sight of a mouse in the roots of a tree by the lake. He grinned and crouched, ready to pounce on the unsuspecting prey. The snow was cold beneath his paws but as he pounced he felt suddenly warmer. As he pounced onto the mouse he heard a horrible crackling noise. It was too fast for him to move in time. A horrible and wicked pain shot through him as the limb from the tree fell on him, pressured under the snow. His breathes were short and he closed his eyes to try and put the pain from his head. Soon when he opened his eyes he saw stars all around. Had he really lost another life?
His fiery red pelt glowed in the starlight as he watched Liftedstar. He padded forward, his bright amber eyes flickering as he stopped in front of his son. Burningstar stared at his son until Liftedstar sat up to meet his undying gaze. A quick blink and he spoke in the calm voice that was forgotten among the stars with the rest, "Liftedstar, you have lost another life," he meowed, "You have three lives left, live them well my son." Before he turned to leave with the other stars in the sky he looked to his son again, "Go to her for she will need you," he meowed calmly, "I am still proud of you Liftedstar, remember that."
Liftedstar awoke now, cold and starring into the lake from where he lay under the fallen limb. He squeezed himself from out under the limb and shook the snow from his pelt. His eyes searched the sky for a glimpse of his father, even in this early morning, his dazzling blue eyes glittered as he spoke, "I will remember father," he meowed as if Burningstar were there with him, "I will remember you."
(I know, only three lives but I had a storyline based around one cat I made. After that I made I whole family tree and the story branched out. I have to change the way the story sets out with different sites sometimes but it is pretty much the way I wanted it.)
