;;Shadowpaw
I can see the world, sharp like paper. take me to the eyes of this girl. and now...
.D.A.N.C.E. with me.
;;sunlight glinted off the river's waves, concealing the chaotic shadows swirling beneath the surface. It was a beautiful morning, sunny and warm. The air was filled with the scent of the rain that sprinkled down from clouds that darted around the sun as though they didn't want to cover the delightful warmth.
;;the light dancing on the water reflected the small white form moving beside the river. Shadowpaw's tiny paws darted out in front of her as she weaved around plants and reeds with long-limbed grace. Sapphire-blue eyes gazed out at the world with calm happiness, reflecting the relaxation the gentle lapping of the river bestowed upon her.
;;silvery scales darted below the surface of the water, reminding Shadowpaw that she hadn't come simply to relax. She slowed to a walk and waded carefully out into the water until only her inky-black hind paw remained dry. Patiently, she waited—she wouldn't gain anything by thrashing around.

Her white fur glistened softly in the light, the stream filling the air with its soft, fresh scent. Her dark blue eyes sparkled at the beauty of the world around her, she only wished her sister was with her.
As she padded closer the the stream she spotted the form of Shadowpaw. Mirrowpaw walked foward quietly, a small smile playing on her face. "Hello," she spoke softly, her voice full of friendliness.

OOC: i'm sorry this is taking so long... one of my best friends just stole my girl. XP as you might expect, I'm a little bit upset. so it's hard to think of something for sweet, friendly, content little Shadowpaw.

"Hello,"
;;she turned, startled by the sound of Mirrorpaw's voice--she hadn't expected to see anyone out here for a while. "Hello, Mirrorpaw," she mewed. Shadowpaw's bright blue eyes shone, and her whiskers twitched up in a faint smile. "How are you today?"
OOC: eesh, that sucked. sorry.

Mirrorpaw looked at the surprised cat. "Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. I'm doing well, how about you?"

;;Shadowpaw smiled. "I'm doing well," she mewed. A raindrop fell on her ear, and she flicked it off into the water. "It's a nice day, isn't it? she asked. "Raining... But still sunny. She laughed softly. "That's not something you get to see every day."

Mirrorpaw glanced up at the sky. "It is nice, its calm and quiet, it smells clean, and the sun shines through to warm the ground."

;;Shadowpaw was delighted that someone saw what she did. A silvery glint in her peripheral vision caught her attention. Her head whipped around, and one paw darted out towards the fish. All she touched was water and pebbles. "Fox dung," she muttered, frowning. A moment later, she brightened again. "Oh well. There's always next time." She bounced out of the water, shaking silvery droplets from her paws, and sat down next to Mirrorpaw.

Mirrorpaw watched as Shadowpaw struck out at the fish. She let out a sigh as the fish got away. "Better luck next time."

Shadowpaw smiled placidly at Mirrorpaw. ”I'll get it next time... she mewed. Tilting her head to one side, she gazed at the river with bright blue eyes. ”I wonder who our mentors will be,” she said.

Mirropaw nodded at her comment. "If we don't get mentors we'll never become warriors."

Shadowpaw made a face. "That would suck. Being an apprentice forever? No thanks." The rain started coming down harder, plastering her fur down.

Mirrorpaw looked up at the darkening sky. "Maybe we should head for shelter before we get sick."

Shadowpaw's head bobbed up and down. "Fine by me," she mewed. "Let's go!" She stood up quickly and bolted for the closest reasonable shelter from the rain.
