DarkPaw always hated fighting. She would get annoyed whenever there were border fights or big wars between rival cats. She was always caring, and didn't want to serve her life as a warrior. DarkPaw quickly learned plant names and what they looked like, although she does not know them all. Without her life as a medicine cat apprentice she would've been driven insane with all the fighting and needless battle training.
Description:
DarkPaw is a midnight black she-cat, although she has three white paws, a white chest and some white on her face. The tip of her thin tail is also a snow white. Her eyes are a piercing green, and seem to tint yellow or blue according to her mood. Darkpaw's thin coat is useful in the summer, but sometimes make her feel sickly in the Winter. Her small paws are very dainty and are useful for sorting herbs, as they are always guided carefully.
History:
DarkKit was the youngest and smallest kit of a litter of five, and she was the only girl. Her brothers, BloodKit, WaveKit, MallowKit, and HurtleKit were bigger, faster and stronger than her. BloodKit was named BloodKit because of his ginger-red fur, and that his mother had began to die as soon as she gave brith to him. WaveKit had eyes that were blue, and a darker pelt that somewhat reminded his mother of a river. MallowKit had Green eyes like his sister, but had a brown tabby pelt that reminded his mother of soil. HurtleKit began to move and squirm as soon as he was born, which is where the idea HurtleKit formed. Finally, DarkKit was named as is because of her black fur, and her mother foresaw a very different path for her. BloodKit always had a great ambition for leaderShip and commanded his siblings around like they were his slaves. WaveKit and DarkKit were the quietest kits and stayed out of trouble. MallowKit and HurtleKit were rebellious beyond believe, always contradicting eachother and their brother BloodKit, never doing as they were told. MallowKit, BloodKit, WaveKit, and HurtleKit were made into apprentices on their sixth moon, but DarkKit was unable to, as she was a sickly kit and had greencough at the time. She was soon cured, but was horrified to see that something else was wrong with her health- She had a condition that Two-Legs called Asthma, uncurable with any herb. Her breathing was always irreguler, and she often coughed and wheezed. It was twice as hard for her to do things as other kits, but she didn't feel the need to become a warrior. Because of her condition, DarkKit was offered a position as a medicine cat apprentice at her six and a half moon. Before she was offered this though, WaveKit was drowned a river, MallowKit found some tasty looking berries and ate them, and was killed, as the berries were deathberries. HurtleKit broke his spine as he was run over on the ThunderPath, and BloodKit was found dead, in a pool of blood with Dog Scent all around him. It seemed as if their names would spell their doom, but DarkKit was still alive, and there was still hope for her.
